Birthday Celebration...

LCOM has been celebrating it's 3rd birthday all week...there has been giveaways, games, challenges and tons of scrappy chat.  Here is a few LO's I created from the challenges:

Happy Birthday

My baby boy turned 1 in May...a great milestone, yet it seems he is growing up way to fast.  We celebrated with a cake on his birthday and had a few friends over to help celebrate on the weekend.  He had a blast and enjoyed messing in his cakes.

Its also LCOM's birthday...3 years old!  Join us on the forum for a the birthday bash...lots of challenges and games going on!

I've ben busy, busy, busy...I wish I could say it was all scrapping, but I'm back to work and am trying out a new position at the bank.  I'm liking the job but it's leaving me a little less time for my scrappy supplies.  Thankfully, I can bring my bag of goodies along to my night job and here is a few creations I came up with while I've been at work:

National Scrapbook Day

How did you spend NSD??  I spent it in the best way possible...15 hours of non stop scrapbooking with a group of fantastic scrappers!  I had so much fun creating, shopping and creating some more.  LCOM was gracious enough to hold a crop in Moncton and brought along the store and what a fun filled day it was.  There was lots of munchies, loads of laughs and a ton of scrapping.  It was the absolute perfect day!

This is a LO I did at the crop for the Scraping with the Stars Challenge #8.  There was lots of details about this challenge and I was a bit nervous, but I love the outcome!!

This was the crop challenge and I was the challenge winner.  I am super proud of the outcome of this LO and had a blast creating it.

This was a challenge just for me...I was hoping to get in on the 1 hour challenge that we had at the last crop I attended but there was none planned this time so Michelle rummeged through her supplies and picked a fabulous prize for me to get if I completed her challenge within 1 hour.  This was sooo much fun!



Scraping With The Stars

I've been having a blast creating layouts for the LCOM - Scraping With The Stars challenge...we just got to see the reveal for week 7 and here is my layout:

There is currently 6 incredible scrapers left and we are about to see the challenge for week 8 tomorrow.  I can't wait to see what is in store for this week!

Introducting the Carroll's

We had a blast with the Forum Party at LCOM this past weekend!  There was several challenges and lots of word games!  One challenge we had to do was complete a LO using scrappy items we were hoarding.  I was holding onto this paper collection by My Mind's Eye called Kraft Fun Day.  I was waiting for the perfect photos to use with it.  When the challenge came up I starting sifting through my photos and realized I already had the perfect one!  The day our family became complete!  It truely was the BEST DAY EVER!

Forum Party

We've been having a blast at Let's Capture Our Memories.com this weekend.  There is a forum party going on with all kinds of fun.  Word games, challenges and scrapping!  AND, lots of new scrappy goodies have been added to the store.  Hop on over to the LCOM and join the excitement!

Cool Shades

I've been busy trying to get caught up on layouts.  It was nearly a year that I had my supplies packed up and did nothing.  We were expecting our second son and needed to make my scrappy room into another bedroom.

These are pictures of my two handsome boys - Aaden and Jarett.  On this LO I used Echo Park's This and That - Graceful Collection.  While the collection is typically girly, I found some boyish pieces and added a few elements that were not included in the collection. 

This is a layout I did of myself from a challenge that was with Let's Capture Our Memories.  I get alot of inspiration from the gals at LCOM and really enjoy using sketches and following the different challenges posted.
